The Chancel Choir is beginning rehearsals for our Christmas Cantata and Hanging of the Greens, as well as all the music between now and then. This is a great time to become a part of this worship leadership team. We are pleased to include new members. There is no audition. Rehearsals are Wednesday evenings 7:00 – 8:30 p.m. Childcare is provided. It is great to worship the Lord together in rehearsal and in church services.
YES! Youth Ensemble Singers! begin rehearsals Wednesday September 2 from 6:00-6:30 p.m. It is a fast rehearsal to prepare for singing once a month in worship. We are a praying and singing fellowship. Become a part of this group if you are from 7th through 12th grades.
Wesley Ringers begin rehearsals Monday September 14 at 8:30 a.m. This is a group of dedicated musicians who ring for worship as needed. We have a wonderful time sharing God’s love through this unique musical form.
Ageless Handchimes begin rehearsals Wednesday, September 16 from 3:30-4:15 p.m. It is open to ringers 3rd grade and up. There is a unique opportunity for adults and children to work together and learn to read music as well as play for services.
The Tribe of Dan is a behind the scenes group involved in altar preparations for our services. The beautiful visual offerings tie in with the scriptures and sermons. We share the responsibilities, so scheduling is very flexible.
Liturgical Dance rehearsals will begin September 13. More information is coming on these rehearsals.
Instrumentalists and sound technicians are also a part of our worship preparations. If you play an instrument or if you are technologically inclined, please let me know. We need you!
Lay readers and acolytes are an important part of our services. We would love to include those who are interested. See Sherri Waters for details on any of these ministries.
