Upcoming Workshops on Church, Communications and Social Media
Did you know that the WMUMC Facebook page has 150 Williams members already? Did you
know that about 150 people receive E-news in their email inbox each week? Or did you know that
we have over 50 people following our updates on Twitter?
Maybe you have heard of things like Facebook and Twitter, but really do not know much about
them. You might be interested in learning more but do not know where to start.
Williams Memorial will be hosting several workshops about how we as a church communicate
with our members and our community. These workshops will be your chance to learn more about
these services, how to sign up and how to use them effectively. They will also focus on how we as a
church can use them not only to communicate information but to build community within our church
family, and how to use them as outreach to our friends, family and community.
So far a few Sunday School classes have volunteered to host during their Sunday School hour.
Others can be scheduled for classes, or groups through the fall. If your class or group is interested
in learning more please contact Russell Martin.
