Children’s Ministries:

Alive @ Five Tonight! Dinner is Pizza.  All kids, age 4 through sixth grade are invited TONIGHT and most Sundays during the school year from 5:00 to 7:00 for bible study, games, food, and music.  Kids choirs are preparing for their Christmas program to be presented December 6.  We only have 3 rehearsals between now and December 6, so it is REALLY important that kids wishing to participate come to practice!

Helpers for A@5: Marcie Hlavinka, Anne Slade, Melissa Steed, Lindsey McMillan, Mandy Davis, Nell Old.  Kids Choir helpers include Stephanie Laird, Peggy Burson, and Shawn Edmonds.

Combined Thanksgiving Service will be held at Hardy UMC with Williams MUMC and Union Hill Baptist.  1st through 4th graders will play rainbow bells. The service starts at 6:30.

Youth Ministries

The Methodist Men and the guys from the youth group will be having a fish fry and a combined meeting this evening from 5pm to 7pm in the youth center. There will be plenty of food, entertaining group activities, and loads of fun! All dads who have boys in grades 7th through 12th are encouraged to attend and bring your boy or boys with you!

Courtney Waldrep, Assistant Youth Director, will host a BUNKO night for the girls at the church in Room 130 beginning at 5:00.  There will be great prizes and a special gift for visitors.  So, bring a friend who normally doesn’t go to church!

On Wednesday, October 28, we’ll follow our normal schedule:  Open gym from 5:00 – 7:00, liturgical dancers practice at 5:30, YES! rehearsal at 6:30, youth bible study at 7:00.  Come and bring a friend!

Church Ministries and Opportunities

Williams Travelers will travel to Arlington, Texas for a special tour of the brand new Dallas Cowboys Stadium on November 10.  Sign up sheet is in the welcome center.  Call Sue or Vee for more information and details on this fun one day trip.

Thank you to all who worked the Pumpkin Patch!  Even through all the rain, we ministered to over a thousand local schoolchildren.  Proceeds will benefit youth missions.

The altar rose is placed in honor of Myers Franklin Sheppard, born October 28, 2009 to Jon and Renee Sheppard.  Praise God for this new addition to our church family!
