Next Sunday night is Hanging of the Greens Worship Service at 6:00 p.m. Refreshments, a time of fellowship, and decorating the Christmon tree follows after the service in the parlor.
Children’s Ministries:
No Alive @ Five Sunday 11/29!
Next Sunday, every child in Kids Choir will participate in the Hanging of the Greens Worship Service. Children should come to Room 108 by 5:45.
Sunday December 13 all kids are invited to the Happy Birthday Party for Jesus from 5:00 – 7:00 in Wesley Hall. Our mission this year is Temple Memorial Rehabilitation Center for Children. Williams kids should bring the $10 they have earned to help the children at Temple and honor Jesus. Parents are invited to stay and join the fun (and help!).
Youth Ministries
No youth activities Sunday 11/29.
“Change Your World” This is a friendly competition between Sr. High and Jr. High to see who can raise the most money and bring the most canned goods between now and Sunday Dec. 13th. The canned goods will go to our food pantry, and the money will go towards “Secret Santa.”
Wednesday December 2 we’ll follow our normal schedule: Open gym from 5:00-7:00, liturgical dance rehearsal at 5:30, YES! At 6:30, Youth Bible Study at 7:00. All kids in grades 7-12 are invited. Come and bring a friend!

UMCOR Sager Brown Mission Trip is scheduled for January 3 – 9. The deadline to sign up is fast approaching. Won’t you consider sharing your time and talents for this wonderful mission opportunity? The Good Treasures Bookstore is hosting its first annual Gift Wrapping Event on Friday December 4, 11th, and 18th, and Saturday December 5th, 12th, and 19th from 1:00 – 5:00. Bring your packages in to be professionally wrapped while you enjoy a cup of coffee, cappuccino, or refreshing Gourmet Ice. All proceeds will benefit the Bookstore.
Good Treasures Bookstore hours for December are: Monday through Friday 8:00 am – 6:00 pm and Sunday 8:00 – noon. The Bookstore will be closed December 21 through January 5, 2010.
