Church Ministries and Opportunities
First time guest? We are glad you joined us for worship today. We invite you to stop by the welcome table for church information and a free gift bag. For more information talk to one of our pastors in the bookstore after church today or call Amy in the church office at (903)832-8663.
A new Pastor’s Class is starting February 14 and will be led by Danny Wayman. It will take place during the Sunday School hour (9:15) for five weeks. We hope that visitors and new members will take advantage of this opportunity to fellowship together, study the Word, and learn more about Methodism. Anyone is welcome to join the group. If you don’t have a Sunday School class, this might be a good opportunity for you to ease into making Sunday School a habit.
Long-time visitor? Choose today to join this faith family. All are welcome. All you have to do is walk up to the pastor during the last song.
Every Member in Ministry
Each person in Williams UMC is unique in gifts and minstry. We are all needed. This month we are encouraging every member to make a commitment in ministry. Saturday, January 30 from 10:00 – noon you will have an opportunity to decide which talent YOU will share with your church family. We will gather in Wesley Hall for this Ministry Appreciation, Training, and Organization event. A list is available of some of the ministry opportunities available here. Please study that list, and decide how YOU will be in service in 2010. If you cannot come on the 30th, please contact the staff person in charge of the area you have chosen. We’d love to hear from you!
