When we return from Randy Sam’s, we’ll do Bible Study from 7-8 p.m.

In response to the earthquake in Haiti, the youth groups’ “Change The World” campaign continues in February and March. We will focus on UMCOR health kits. The youth have set a goal of 500 health kits. Won’t you contribute to this endeavor? Checks may be made out to WMUMC. Please write “health kits” in the memo section. Health kits cost approximately $12 each. Please consider supporting our Youth as they strive to minister to the world.

Church Ministries and Opportunities

Ash Wednesday is this week. Please join us in the sanctuary at 6:00 for a service of imposition of Ashes. Attending this service is a meaningful way to begin the season of Lent.

It’s not too late to join the “Pastor’s Class” beginning today during the Sunday School hour. We meet in Room 130 each Sunday through March 11. The class is geared to newcomers to get better acquainted with Williams, but is appropriate for anyone desiring a stronger connection to the church.

First time guest? We are glad you joined us for worship today. We invite you to stop by the welcome table for church information and a free gift bag. For more information talk to one of our pastors in the bookstore after church today or call Amy in the church office at (903)832-8663.

JYF Pancake Supper is next Sunday night at 5:00. Please plan on buying a ticket and come share the joy with the Williams kids. Suggested donation is $5 and the proceeds will benefit our Society of St Stephen fund, which provides groceries to the needy every week. Part of the money raised will also go to the kids at WaterSprings Ranch, a Christian home for needy children.

The Drama group in the Xperience service is off to a great start! Last Sunday, they presented a skit about being called to follow Jesus. It was very well done and thought-provoking and fit perfectly with the sermon. Thanks to Shawn Edmonds for heading this up! If YOU are interested in participating in this new group, please email her at dsmcedmonds@yahoo.com.

The Young Adult Bible Study of James continues in the Youth Center, Thursdays at 7:00. Please come!
