In response to the earthquake in Haiti, the youth groups’ “Change The World” campaign for January, February, and March is going to focus on UMCOR health kits. The youth have set a goal of 500 health kits. Checks may be made out to WMUMC and write health kits in the memo section. Health kits cost approximately $12 per kit. Please consider supporting our Youth as they strive to minister to the world.
Church Ministries and Opportunities
A new Pastor’s Class is starting February 14 in Room 130 and will be led by Danny Wayman. It will take place during the Sunday School hour (9:15) for five weeks. We hope that visitors and new members will take advantage of this opportunity to fellowship together, study the Word, and learn more about Methodism. Anyone is welcome to join the group. If you don’t have a Sunday School class, this might be a good opportunity for you to ease into making Sunday School a habit.
