The second and fourth Thursday of each month at 9:30am you will find a group in the Youth Center playing games and having fun. These individual, are adding eXtra Years of Zest, as they play Bridge, Skip Bo, Dominos or just share lunch and fellowship. Come join them and add some Zest to your life.
GT Bridge
This group continues to grow. There are people with all levels of skill with one thing in common, they all enjoy playing bridge. They meet in the Good Treasures Bookstore at 6:00pm every Wednesday night. If you are interested in playing with this group, Email John Mercy at jmercy@texarkanalawyers.com, or Vee Daniels at gnvee@cableone.net., and let them know you would like to play.
Book Club
A Tree Grows in Brooklyn by Betty Smith is the book selection for April. If you would like to join in the discussion, come to the Children’s Library on April 12th at noon. Some of our upcoming book choices are Farewell to Arms by Earnest Hemingway and Turning Angel by Gregg Isles.
UMW Princesses (20, 30 & 40 year olds)
If you are you between the ages of 20 and 49 and would like to make new friends while eating, and playing games, then come join the Princesses. It is hard to believe how much excitement this group can create. We meet on the second Wednesday of each month in room 108 at 6:00 pm. Remember child care is provided, so bring the kids and enjoy a night of ME TIME.
United Methodist Women (UMW)
These ladies meet on the first Tuesday of each month, with a timely program and a delicious meal. Come on April 6th and hear Jennifer Biggar tell about the Rainbow Room (a storage room for Child Protective Services). The supplies kept here help families starting over again. Ladies please remember to bring your items to the April meeting.
W2LEO
If eating out, meeting new people and enjoying the fellowship of friends is your thing, then join the W2LEO group. They meet on the 13th and 31st of April at 6:00pm at a local restaurant to share a meal and catch up. If you are interested in joining this group, call or Email Sue or Vee to get your name and address on the list. Postcards are mailed to let you know the restaurants of choice for that month.
