Do you know a young person going into 6th-11th grade who might be interested in church camp this year??? Camp is at Lakeview near Palestine, Texas. The dates are Monday, June 28 – Friday, July 2. Church camp is a really fun time for kids. And more importantly, the worship activities and music provide a great opportunity for spiritual growth and awareness. Church members can go for $105. Non-members pay the full cost of $205, if you register by May 12. That includes lodging, great meals, and all the activities that can be packed into five days. Activities vary but can include swimming, archery, canoeing, arts and crafts, mini-golf, basketball, kickball, waterslides and water balloons, fishing, inside games, and cabin activities. (Cost goes up after May 12, so register today!)
Do you have some time off this summer and looking to fill that time with something meaningful??! Maybe you should be a counselor at church camp this year! It really is fun and rewarding. And it’s free! Free lodging and food and activities for a whole week! WOW! Won’t you prayerfully consider sharing yourself and your faith with our Youth? Contact Courtney or Tommy Earl for more details.
Vacation Bible School is July 25-29. The title this year is “Galactic Blast” so we’ll transform Wesley Hall and several classrooms into outer space-themed areas. This is an awesome opportunity for our church to minister to Williams kids, Williams School kids, and others! Last year we served over 230 children. Won’t you be in prayer about volunteering to help pull off this HUGE project?? It is SO MUCH fun to help. Fill out a volunteer card and/or contact Sue ( suecamp@cableone.net )about your service to this worthwhile project.
