The Wiliams Travelers are taking a trip to Fredricksburg
Join us as we travel by bus to Fredericksburg, on Monday, October 10th – 14th.
Itinerary
Tuesday we will tour the Pacific War Museum, George Bus Gallery of the Pacific War, the Plaza of the Presidents, Japanese Garden of Peace, Memorial Walk and the Pacific Combat Zone and see displays of some of the most notable aspects and events of WWII in the Pacific.
That afternoon those who want may taste their way through the Chocolat Confectionery or shop some of the best one-of-a kind shopping on Main Street. Others may want to go back to the Museum for a more in-depth look.
Wednesday is a busy day filled with a tour of the Pioneer Museum Complex to see how this community was settled by German emigrants and their influence on this section of Texas. From there we will travel to the Wildseed Farms for a tour of the Butterfly House and the farm grounds. We will have lunch at the Wildseed Brewbonnet Biergarten before traveling to the Lyndon B. Johnson Ranch and tour his Texas White house.
Thursday we will tour the Chisholm Trail Winery and have lunch there before returning to town for some serious shopping, or relaxation. Those that still have not had enough, may tour some of Fredericksburg cemeteries, homes or galleries on their own or shop in one of the many stores and galleries.
Each evening we will dine at some of Fredericksburg’s finest eateries and some will include entertainment while we dine.

Don’t miss out on this fun trip. A deposit of $100 due before August 1st will hold you a seat on the bus. The balance of the cost is due before September, 1st, 2011.
