What’s going on this week? We have a mission trip deadline, a North District Youth Christmas Party with a “Thieving Santa” gift exchange, and a fun trip on Friday December 30th. There is a lot going on, and I hope to see you soon!
Sunday December 11th
Sunday School is going to be fun! We are going to continue to watch the movie we have been studying; “The Lion King.” Bring your favorite drink, some popcorn, and great attitude to the youth center this Sunday morning! Invite a friend!
Sunday night we have a North District Youth Rally at Tapp UMC in New Boston. Please be at the youth center by 4:15pm. We should return back to the youth center by approximately 7:45pm.
Bring a gift! We will have a “Thieving Secret Santa” Christmas Party! Each youth and adult, who want to participate, will bring a wrapped secret gift that cost $10 or less! We will exchange these gifts at the rally! These gifts can be anything, even homemade, and must cost $10 or less! Use your imagination, be creative, and know that this gift exchange is all about entertainment and not about gain! This is going to be fun!
Friday December 30
Fun Trip! We are taking a fun trip to Grapevine Mills Mall and Medieval Times. Click this link to get signed up! We will load up the charter bus at 7:00 a.m., and head to the Grapevine Mills Mall. We will spend the day shopping, eating lunch, and hanging out. We will load up that afternoon, and head to Medieval Times for a 5:00 p.m. dinner show and jousting tournament. We should arrive back to the church at approximately 12:00 a.m. Cost is $40, and scholarships are available. You and your friends will need a Notarized 2011 Liability Release Form to attend this trip. You can download a form below, get it notarized, and return it to the office. We also have these forms available in the Welcome Center.

Attention High School students! 2012 Spring Break UM ARMY is March 11th through the 15th. The group registration deadline is Thursday January 12th! Who wants to go? Click on the link to sign up!
Attention all youth! 2012 Appalachian Service Project mission trip is taking place July 2012. Deadline to register for this trip is Thursday December 8th! It will be sometime in March when we will find out for sure our date. The following are our 1st, 2nd, and 3rd choices that we will be submitting with our application.
Our first choice is the week of July 7th through July 14th. Our second choice is July 14th through July 21st. Our third choice is June 30th through July 7th. We should be able to get our first choice. Want to go? Sign up now and reserve your place on this really cool trip!
