Are you surrounding yourself with “Healthy Friendships? Do you avoid unhealthy ones? Do you know that your friends have a huge influence over you and the quality of your life? Join us this Sunday night for youth as we begin a study on “Healthy Friendships.”
*Wednesday January 18th*
The youth group will be providing the evening meal at the Randy Sams’ Outreach Center. Our schedule runs from 4:00 p.m. to 7:30 p.m.
From 4:00 p.m. to 5:15 p.m. we gather in the youth center and prepare the meal. At approximately 5:15 p.m., we load up the vehicles to travel to Randy Sams. We begin serving the meal at 6:00 p.m., return to the youth center at 7:00 p.m., and should be finished with cleanup by 7:30 p.m.
*Sunday January 22nd*
Sunday School meets from 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. in the youth center, and this Sunday we will begin a bible study on the movie “Dumb and Dumber.”
Youth meets from 5:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. This Sunday we will begin a study on “Healthy Friendships.”
*Ignite Mid-Winter Youth Retreat 2012*
This year we will be attending Ignite Mid-Winter Youth Retreat 2012 at our Lakeview Methodist Conference Center in Palestine, Tx. It’s a mini version of church camp, and it is Friday February 24th through Sunday February 26th. Cost is $105, and scholarships are available.
