In Isaiah 43:19 (New Living Translation) we read; “For I am about to do something new. See, I have already begun! Do you not see it? I will make a pathway through the wilderness. I will create rivers in the dry wasteland.”
What new thing is God going to accomplish through you? Will you join Williams Youth as we attempt to build 15 wheelchair ramps this year? Will you join us as we volunteer with “Community Cafe” on Monday nights? Will you join us on the third Wednesday of every month when we volunteer at the Randy Sams’ Outreach Center? Will you join Williams Youth as we praise God with our words and actions, inspire others to follow Christ, and as we help people find their way in life? See you soon!
Wednesday January 4th
Our High School Bible Study Group will be building and installing a small wheelchair this Wednesday. We will gather outside the youth center at 4:00 p.m. to assemble this ramp, and then at approximately 4:45 p.m. we will leave for the job site to install the ramp. Afterwards we will gather at the Subway on Richmond Road for fellowship and a meal. Youth will need to provide their own ride and money.
Saturday January 7th
We have another wheelchair ramp project with “The Texas Ramp Project.” Be at the youth center at 8:00 a.m. if you would like to help. Bring money for drinks, and snacks. Lunch will be provided.
Sunday January 8th
Sunday School will begin a new movie Bible study. Be at the youth center at 9:15 a.m.
At 4:00 p.m. we will have a Parent/Youth meeting in the youth center. 2012 Liability Release Forms will be available, and we will have a notary available as well.
At 4:30 p.m., we will have a Youth Council Meeting. Youth will be planning their fun acitivities for the next few months, and we will be discussing our mission trips.
After our meetings, the youth will meet at Holiday Bowl from approximately 5:30pm to 7pm. Bring $15 for pizza, drinks, and bowling. Youth need to provide their own ride and money.
