Our youth mission day is this Saturday, this Sunday is our Super Bowl Party, and it’s not too late to sign up for Ignite Mid-Winter Youth Retreat. There is a lot going on, so please read through this carefully. See you soon.
*Wednesday February 1st*
Sr High Bible Study this week in the youth center from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. Afterwards from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., we will gather at the Subway on Richmond Road for fellowship and a meal. Youth need to provide their own ride and money.
*Saturday February 4th*
Mission Day! The first Saturday of every month is our mission of the month day, and our project this year is wheelchair ramps. We will gather at the youth center at 8:00 a.m., head out to our wheelchair ramp project, and should be finished and back at the youth center by 5:00 p.m. Youth need to bring money for snacks and lunch at McDonald’s! Youth will need a 2012 Notarized Youth Liability Release Form to participate! Scroll down this update for the link for this form. I will need at least 1 adult who can drive the church van to help. *Sunday February 5th*
Sunday School meets from 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. in the youth center, and this Sunday we will continue our Bible study on the movie “The Mission.”
Super Bowl Party! The youth will have a Super Bowl Party in the youth center starting at 5:00 p.m. and will continue until the end of the game. We will have pizza, and you are encouraged to bring your favorite snacks and drinks. This is a church wide event, so invite your family and friends!
*Ignite Mid-Winter Youth Retreat 2012*
It’s not too late to sign up for mid-winter youth retreat! Deadline for late registration is Thursday February 9th, so hurry up and register for Ignite!!! This year we will be attending Ignite Mid-Winter Youth Retreat 2012 at our Lakeview Methodist Conference Center in Palestine, Tx. It’s a mini version of church camp, and it is Friday February 24th through Sunday February 26th. Cost is $125, and scholarships are available. Click on the link above to get signed up!
