Our parent and youth meeting was good, and at our youth council meeting the youth made some interesting plans for our youth group. Afterwards, we had a lot of fun bowling, watching the Steelers vs Broncos game on the big screen, and eating pizza at Holiday Bowl. It was a great day!

Boys Chrysalis Flight
There is a boys Chrysalis Flight this weekend from Saturday January 14th through Monday January 16th at First United Methodist Church in Sulphur Springs, Tx. If you are interested, and are a boy age 15 to 18, please get in touch with me by Wednesday January 11th, and I’ll sponsor you. This will be of no cost to you. It is the youth version of Walk to Emmaus. Contact me if you know of any youth that might be interested.
Wednesday January 11th
High School Bible Study will meet from 6:00 p.m. to 7:00 p.m. in the youth center. Afterwards from 7:00 p.m. to 8:00 p.m., the youth will meet at the Subway on Richmond Road for fellowship and a meal. Youth need to provide their own ride and money. The ramp project scheduled for today has been cancelled due to weather concerns.
Sunday January 15th
Sunday School meets from 9:15 a.m. to 10:15 a.m. in the youth center, and this Sunday we will continue our movie Bible study on “Charlie and the Chocolate Factory.”
No youth this Sunday night due to the Martin Luther King weekend. We will resume our Sunday night small groups Bible study on Sunday January 22nd. Until then, enjoy spending this time off with your family and friends.
