So come and join us on February 8th at 6:00 p.m. in room 108 for a special meal and a special visitor.

Girls’ Night Out is a United Methodist Womens group for women in their 20s, 30s and 40s looking for Christian fellowship and fun and meets every second Wednesday at 6:00 p.m. in room 108.

“It is more blessed to give than to receive.” Acts 20:35

These are words that the United Methodist Women live by. Their generous spirit is shown through out the year.

The UMW donated over $4,000 through channels to Global Ministries and UMCOR. Domestic Violence Prevention was given $1,000, Society of St. Stephens $1,000, another $1,000 went to help with the Youth Mission Trip, Together in Hope an El Salvador Mission was given $200, Sager Brown was sent sixty three birthing kits to be distributed.

At Christmas UMW shares their blessings with local families. Harvest Texarkana was the recipient of monies to help with their backpack program. The Bowie County’s child welfare Rainbow Room received a generous donation as well.

They gave to a family in our church that needed some assistant. Several other church projects were given a donation from UMW.

Many of the Sub-Groups of the UMW give generously to local families in need at Christmas time. One group gave to a local woman who was struggling to complete her education, working, and caring for her children as a single mother.

These women are all truly extravagantly generous and will be bless because they share what God has given them with others.

Let these ladies be an example, as we continue to share our blessings with others less fortunate throughout the year.

UMW’s General meeting is on the first Tuesday of each month. Come join these ladies in parlor for an informative meeting and a delicious lunch. There you will find information about all of their Sub-Groups.

XYZ

This group gets together on the 2nd & 4th Thursday of each month to play games, share lunch and fellowship. We meet in the Youth Center at 9:30am. We would love to have you join us.

UMW Princesses (20, 30, & 40 year old ladies)

We meet the 2nd Wednesday of each month in Room 108. We play games or have other activities planned that you will enjoy. Childcare is provided. Come join in the fun.

W2LEO

We meet twice a month on the 2nd & 4th Tuesday at 6:00 pm at local restaurants to eat and fellowship. Everyone is invited to join our group. Call Sue or Vee to find out the name of the restaurant.

UMW General Meeting

All ladies are invited to join us on the first Tuesday of each month. We work on mission projects and enjoy an enlightening program each month.
